Square Metal Caster Inserts feature hardened steel, double star design. Thread: 5/16-18 Outside Diameter of Tube: 1" Gauge of tube: 16/18. caster inserts insert firmly into tubular legs and are not easily removed. Specially designed to sit deep in the tube and can roll over thresholds, extension cords, etc. Double star caster insert s work with any quality caster. Inserts are available in a range of sizes and will fit flush to the outside edge of the tubing.

fits perfectly! Best in Material Handling

I had square tubes on my kitchen chairs and was looking for "square" castor adapters. These fit great! Now all I have to do is add the threaded hood casters and I have a "safe" chair.

Large Caster Inserts for Square Tube Legs

I first wanted to install casters on my coffee table that has 1" square tube legs with no first wheel inserts I have some cheap plastic inserts Bought but they didn't go deep enough to support the weight of my coffee table and just buckled on they don't flex at all as they are metal they rise higher towards the legs and allow me to roll the coffee table when I need more space in the living room.

There is only one company that makes a similar product but at least they are great!

I was making 2 inch rod extensions to increase the height of a sturdy old table and one of the original nuts broke off the leg immediately trying to move it. Have I ever been happy to have found those casts because I could drag them across the concrete floor to their final position without a single problem? My lightweight basement workbench is now so stable and level that the ball bearings just roll. The only problem I have is waiting until I find a use for the other 21 of them.
