Excellent starter kit

Excellent starter kit. A self-healing mat would be a nice addition, and if you don't have one it needs to be added, but it's a great place to start. I'd also suggest some jeweler's rouge to keep the swivel blade sharp and a cap wheel if you're sewing leather, but again that's a lot for a beginner's kit.

Inexpensive enough for a 5 minute project or a kids project. Wouldn't buy again.

Stamping tools are not worth it. The part is not cut deep enough or the edges are not sharp enough to leave enough marks on the skin. Almost every set on the web costs about three times as much, and it looks like they're probably all the same unless you get professional tools. If you're looking for something great, I've looked elsewhere. Be sure to sharpen the rotary knife blade.

Great starter kit!

If you have a hobby, you know how fast it can go. These sets are great because they allow you to try out a few things without going broke. To be honest the set isn't terrible. The thread scissors are good, Reverence is quite useful, the needles are great, the threads are fine, the buttonhole puller too, and the little filing blocks are very useful too. The two most useful tools aren't perfect, but they get the job done. The piercing irons aren't the best, the raincoat isn't nearly as good as…
