Looks nice and solid but there aren't enough threads on the platter to screw it to the stand. Not sure if this is a problem for everyone or just a bad one.

The sheer weight of the webcam makes it fall over. The base just isn't heavy enough to hold it up. You need to keep it centered on the base to be stable. So. What's that supposed to mean? The device is made relatively cleverly, but the design is far away! IT DOES NOT WORK AS DESCRIBED.

Turntable mount did not match the lever screw. The hole in the platter was too big and didn't fit the threads. Maybe they put the wrong size player in our package? I've tried many times and watched videos to see if I'm doing something wrong but unfortunately it was a defect :( Also it seemed stable and I was upset that I had to return it!

Overall the jib is great with lots of adjustments to get the camera set up properly. I'm using this as a top view of the table and when you stretch out your hand it starts to tip over. My camera weighs 1/4 the maximum weight listed for the mount so I made sure it would support my camera when I bought it. I put something heavy on the base to make sure it stays down. This is disappointing, wish the base was a little heavier.

I know it's balancing, pun not meant to make the bass heavy enough to handle whatever's on the other end but not too heavy, where it should be bulky. I used a small and light Logitech c920 camera, but after extending it to where I needed it, the base wasn't heavy enough to support even this small camera. Obviously this doesn't work for a phone or DSLR. If you need something more vertical than lateral, this will likely work for you. But if you need something to shove the camera out of the way…

I've been looking for something to mount my webcam or webcam flashlight for a long time and this device does it well. I can install it and it will be big enough to be over my monitor. Good weight too. My only complaint (and it's a small one) is that the hand doesn't "snap" into the base at all. Despite its solid construction, its design offers only 3 adjustment possibilities: left/right with the 1st lever (i.e. the part that connects to the base), up/down with the 2nd lever and 360 degree by the third hand.
