I've always been pleased with the thoughtful design of OXO products. As someone previously posted, this company seems to actually have real chefs designing their products. It works great on my 10" and 12" nonstick pans. (It's a bit large for my 8-inch pan, but OXO also makes a narrower silicone spatula for smaller pans). UPDATE: I turned away for a moment while cooking today and the nylon handle on the OXO spatula melted where it was touching the rim of the hot pan.
