Very slippery and unsafe

To be a chef for life The surface is very slippery which causes the food to slide. It's not safe for a cutting board. I do not recommend! I had the same brand a while back and don't recall they being like that. What has changed?

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Not sure

Not worth buying in store

They give the impression that a 'big' chopping board is a big one. yes much less! I had to buy separately. $35 for 2 small cutting boards? I would say it's not worth it. I just bought a really big one from Aces Hardware.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • So-so

So hygienic! Best Cutlery & Knife Accessories

Very glad I got it. I wanted to save on price but decided to buy them with fluid channels. Keeps the counter clean. I'm glad I have 2 sizes. The smaller one is suitable for very large chicken breasts. The large is suitable for roasts or whole chickens. I washed them in the dishwasher and they are like new. OXO has a lot of great kitchen items.

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

Worst cutting board

These cutting boards didn't meet my expectations at all. I have 3 other OXO cutting boards that I bought over 2 years ago and they are of a much better quality. My main concern is how deep the grooves are on the boards. Small pieces of material break off and are difficult to keep clean. Food and particles from my cleaning sponge get stuck in the large crevices left by the knives. The material is not as durable as the previous model. I definitely won't be buying again, nor will I recommend it…

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Outdated model

NOT the best option for chopping garlic. SMALL - check sizes!

A large board flexes just enough to hit the counter and makes a very loud noise when it hits a tooth. It is treated by placing potholders underneath. (It would be better if the manufacturer made the rubber overhangs a bit higher). Other than that, the only caveat is that they're small, but I wish the big one could go in the dishwasher. Next time I would buy two bigger ones. There is a groove around the perimeter on one side, which I don't think is bad. For me, the side with no ridges works best

Pros
  • Not just useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Some problems

Disappointed that they reduced the size of the "everyday board "

I re-ordered this set to give to my sister mum as I have an old set that I really liked. I have just received new sets of boards and I am sorry to say that the "everyday" board is much smaller than my original "everyday utility board". Almost 1.75 inches shorter in length and almost 1.25 inches shorter in width. The description does not specify these new measurements. This is more frustrating than anything because the interface is much smaller now. I have a large cutting board but I'm afraid to

Pros
  • Quality build
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

After a week of use, these new cutting boards look like they've been used for 10 years. For some reason, soft plastic doesn't seem like a desirable food material to me. When those cutting boards are soft enough that a few chops cut through them like butter, microplastics are really more likely to be removed. At the very least I would have to have hundreds of dollars on a cutting board budget if I continued to use these cutting boards. I've never seen anything like it. I have a plastic cutting…
