I bought this dog trainer to see if it would help stop my dog from jumping on the door and it worked like a charm. It also helps to stop barking because nothing barks. The dog has to get used to it a few times, but it works for my dogs.

At first it seemed like a good buy but within the first week of infrequent use the bulbs stopped working and there was a loud buzzing noise but it had no effect on my dog . He was happier with the light, and when that didn't happen, he lost interest.

I had this device from several manufacturers. It's on the smaller side of quality! I have 3 small dogs that bark a lot. I bought several of these at once and 1/2 of them don't work. The plastic battery cover is not very secure. Devices that worked, work well. Invest in a better device!

This is a very effective way to teach your dog not to bark. I just said "don't bark" when I pressed it and my dog stopped barking right away! He never whimpered and showed no sign of pain or discomfort - it just distracted him enough to keep him from barking. After using it maybe a dozen times, I now just say "don't bark" and it stops right away! I don't even need the clicker anymore so I lent it to my friend to train her dog!

Cheaply made, but inexpensive and effective. Dogs can definitely hear unless they are deaf 😂. Its effectiveness depends on how you use it to train your dog. There are medium settings just to get their attention or to suggest specific commands to be taught, and high or intimidating settings that will startle some dogs. I have successfully used the high setting to break the bad habit of the incessant barking of my three small pet terriers who used to bark a lot at visitors and guests. No longer.
