The ice cream is nicely shaped, but the bowls aren't designed for ease of use.

Pro: The shape of the ice cube is very practical for drinks in bottles with a narrow neck. which tend to freeze to each other if you put them back in the freezer. Also, filling the bowls with water to make cubes is far from ideal as there is no "self-leveling" of the water to help you being sure you don't under- or over-fill the shells (and the fairly high rim at the top of the shells ensures that if you over-fill, you'll connect all the cubes together impenetrably). Barely functional - spend more money for quality

1) They're so thin they'll bend and spill just from the weight of the water, and the tray itself is incredibly thin. You know how you can fill a traditional tray, even the cheapest that comes in the fridge, and hold it by one end while you slide it in the freezer? It will likely bend 20 degrees and spill water in the process. 2) They are very shallow and don't have the usual "struts" or "supports" that even the cheapest regular ice trays have that prevent bottoming. One tray doesn't fit snugly…

Perfect for making healthy frozen dog treats!

These silicone ice cube trays are perfect for making healthy and much more economical homemade frozen treats and are the perfect size for my Roxy lab mix (instead of buying Frosty Paws or other frozen dog "ice cream") that I have bought to the! My sister-in-law and I usually cook and freeze homemade dog food in bulk after doing a lot of research on vitamins, minerals and other nutrients for dogs and finding the healthiest veggies and fruits that are safe and delicious for our 4 of us together…
