This bumper protector is the third one I have installed. None of them have ever failed. I installed the first one over 7 years ago. Second car I just traded in for a Pacer Performance, undamaged after using it in a bumper to bumper parking situation for 5 years. You can see the records when I bought it. I bought two rolls of bumper guards (originally for my wife's car) and then one for my truck. The trick to getting it attached nice and neat is to heat it up first!
