Poor quality of replacement parts

The inner flange was welded too high causing an internal malfunction on the manifold and seal failure. Bad quality control

DIRECT MATCH? Good luck with that

direct fit. Bolted well to the manifold but I ruined the manifold gasket on the spool trying to get it to work. Eventually assembled (no gasket) and installed on the car only to find the exhaust pipe didn't fit the exhaust flange. AAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR The inner diameter of the flange is about 1/4 inch smaller than that of the exhaust pipe. At this point it was a good thing my sledgehammer wasn't handy because it could have been a lot harder to get my money back. it still takes me

Pros
  • Cheaper direct fit alternative to OEM
Cons
  • Poorly designed
