Description of PaceSetter 70-1200 Black Exhaust Header: Boost Performance and Style

CNC-machined, port-matched thick steel flanges provide postive seal at the head and unrestriced flow into the primary tubes. All tubing is mandrel-bent, 16-gauge carbon steel for excellent durability. Available with standard black paint finish or optional ARMOR*Coat metallic ceramic coating. Unsurpassed fit and easy to install with basic skills. Gaskets included.

PaceSetter 70-1200 Black Exhaust Manifold

My mechanic says this is the best fitting part he has ever put on a car! it was quiet when he first put it on, now i don't know if it's properly put on, but it seems louder, i need to check, but it's definitely worth the money and quality! I give 5 stars!

Junksetter for Spare Parts

Although it fit/sounded good and increased performance. It issued codes for the air injection and upstream oxygen sensor that fail the test. Didn't have time to return. I ended up crushing it with my dad's John Deere bulldozer and cleaning it up, but after sending a picture of it to the pacemaker I told them what a piece of junk it was. Do not buy.

  • Useless Features

One of the few exhaust manifolds exempt from CARB

Pros: CARB ExemptAir Injection Cons: Ball joint design almost leaks exhaust Mediocre welds/construction Virtually impossible to assemble flange Cheap paper gasket I installed this manifold myself, but was dissatisfied with the positioning of the stock ball joint from the header to the downspout. We ended up modifying it to have a traditional flange and gasket connection, resulting in zero exhaust leaks, better clearance and a more secure fit. The car passed SMOG and visual inspection with no…

here felpro or victor is ok. Others have complained about the

as others have said the AIR pipe is at the wrong angle. The supplied flange screws are also short. I noticed that the commutator deformed during the welding process. This is pretty much the only legitimate CARB title, a replacement Dorman header costs the same/more money and will fail in 2 years. Hence the hat. before installing this part. Check the fit of the flange and purchase appropriate length bolts. Heat and bend the AIR pipe to fit the corner of the old stock manifold. Motor is not an…

Excellent but difficult to set.

Let's start at the beginning. It came on time with everything you needed included. Header processing is a bit bad but it works. Dismantling the old collector was not difficult. Replacing the air valve and oxygen sensor was painless. The assembly on the cylinder head was not difficult. Then comes the difficult part. Flange mounting was an absolute nightmare. The bolts were too short so I cut the flange springs in half to compensate. Installing the collectors on the flange yourself is almost…
