The waist size is suitable for a 6 year old child, the length is suitable for an adult man. Terrible stuff. Literally hung from my 9 year old's ankles. The waist was small but too tight. Do not buy!

The price seemed too good to be true, and of course it is! They are made very cheaply. They don't look like regular basketball shorts and are too long for their size. Great for gardening, maybe?!

I bought these four for our 13 year old and as he is a bit tall the waist was fine but the length is ridiculously long. He still wears them and says they are very comfortable.

These shorts are very transparent. I bought these for my kids to wear to gym class and when the light hits them you can see through them. They work well in spring and fall as my kids put something underneath so people can't see through them.

They fit a little more than famous brand shorts. I bought a large and an XL for my 2 boys. I had to return the XL and ordered the medium and large instead. The exchange went very smoothly. The day I received the credit I ordered a different size and received it the next day! They're really light but don't see the throw. Great deal for 5 pairs of shorts and my picky boys love them.

I would NOT send my son to school in these shorts. They are very thin, like shorts. Cheap material and cut. His legs were long too and the belt/thong was very cheap. My son didn't like the way they fit and the way they feel. We returned them.

I bought these for my son to hang out at home. You are very thin. They are not very transparent due to the printing, but not the best quality either. I let him wear them at home to make him feel comfortable, but I don't let him wear them in public because they look too skinny. I wouldn't buy them again.

Bought twice for grandchildren. These are the perfect summer shorts. You can even swim in them and they dry very quickly.

My grandson loves the shorts. They were knee length which he liked, they were lightweight and stayed cool which he liked.

They are very light compared to other brands. Inappropriate size. I bought from two other brands and the sizes were the same. However, it is much longer and wider at the waist.

Very cheap. The second wash of this set and one falls apart - the seams are torn, the edge has come loose. I know you get what you pay for but at this price it should have been cheaper.

Beautiful looks and excellent value for money. Fits my son well (American boys age 12) and holds up in the wash with no signs of wear. He was wearing a pair of swim trunks when we forgot him and they worked pretty well showing no damage from the chlorine.

They are comfy but sooooo big, baggy and long. Almost to my children's ankles, and my children are as tall as my husband's 6ft 5in.

These shorts were a bit long on my son. He is currently 1.75 m tall and 14 years old. But they are comfortable and I love that we have so many styles and colors in one package for one low price. Very convenient!

These shorts are huge. If your kids are skinny, you need to choose the size smaller. And it sucks, Thayer, they're not a size 12-14. 14-16 only. They are suitable for play clothes.

My 11 year old grandson who is 5ft 100lbs only likes long shorts and they are long enough for him to like. Although the waist is large, he tightens the drawstring and manages to keep his shorts on. I also agree with the length of those shorts on him. I wish the other guys shorts were that long too.

I really liked these shorts, bought them for my 9 year old son who is usually a medium/true size 8. He is tall for his age but thin/slender. Those shorts looked perfect, but they were too big in the scum and mid-calf too long. I liked the look and the colors. Very light - which means they're probably see-through, but I'm sure it would be fine with the right pair of boxers. I liked them so much I tried to downsize them but they were sold out.

I'm a medium size for my 7 year old and the waist fits perfectly but the length is long. He will grow in it, so overall a good buy

All of my son's friends seem to have these shorts so I ordered another set after he got them. He loves them and even wears them at night. So far four months later they still look great and are holding up great.

Seriously, I wouldn't call something that thin "light". It's just cheap. I'd rather go to Walmart for the best price and support a slightly less obnoxious corporate giant.
