For me-the design flaw is that each section doesn't maintain the same amount of beads, they all slide down because of gravity. For instance I'm using this on my knee as I sit up in bed but then I realize it stops being warm because all the warming beads have slid off to either side and the section covering my kneecap now has like 10 beads in it but the side sections are full. I wish the stitching went all the way across each section to keep uniform heating all around.

You simply heat this in the microwave for two minutes and apply it to the painful area. I used it on my neck and shoulder. It worked amazing well. It relieved the the shoulder pain and my neck stiffness after a few applications. It is a terrific product!

Every day, I use this company's eye pad which has the same beads and the eye pad works great.However, though they use the same beads which seem perfect for this purpose, they don't have any channels to maintain the shape of this pad, making it hard to use. I've tried sitting up, laying down, pushing the beads in place and all are lacking. Disappointing.

This was recommended by the physiotherapist and is great! Easy to use - just heat up in the microwave oven. That's my review.

The Product description did not mention that The multiple sections are not sewn all through the item.This allows the inside heated materials to move freely between the sections. When sitting up, the heat won’t stay on the area that needs it; heated materials all shift to the bottom (regardless of which direction you turn it).
