Wow. What a rip off! Firstly, the equipment shown in the photo was not sent. This is a kind of fake brand that only looks like the pictures because they are black and red. This is the cheapest stuff I've ever seen! It's already torn and my son just tried on a glove! Very disappointed that it was "Revain's Choice". Send back immediately.

I've been boxing for 7 years and whenever I buy gloves the ounces are for each glove. When he received them I noticed that they were very light. After weighing them, I found that each glove weighed 8 ounces, not 16 ounces. This is unfortunately disappointing as they are well made. Sparring with anything under 12 oz is a risk and these gloves are dangerous for sparring!

I bought the gloves a few years ago but after wearing them a few times the stitching came undone and the lace holes were torn. But these are of surprisingly good quality and I can say they will last for many years. Instead of laces, they use a large Velcro strap that's easy to untie, even when wearing gloves. I like them. Gloves and headgear are made of hard foam. Inside is not cheap flimsy rag material. I'm pretty sure you'll love them once you try them!
