Junk. It felt like two sticks of butter instead of actual pads on each side of the caliper. Don't risk your life for cheap gaskets from other manufacturers. You should call them "baked poop".

They work much better than the brakes they replace. the bike stops at a dime. It takes a bit of skill to get the brake and cable positions right (that goes for any brake change, not just them), but once you get everything set up, they work great.

I have a Cannondale synapse that is about five years old. My rear brake pads were ruined after cleaning the drive chain area of the bike. These replacement pads were dispatched the next day and are a perfect match for my Promax render r caliper. I ordered a double pack so now I have a spare set for my next emergency.

What I liked about these pads is their good stopping power. What I didn't like was that I had to modify them (too thick for the body) by grinding off some material to make them fit the brake body easily. One shoe remained unchanged, the other three had to be improved.

I saw that the edges were very shiny so I sanded them lightly with 120 grit sandpaper without sanding hard. So the pads fit well out of the box I have been riding them for a week now and they are good they work well and they are quiet which was a plus. But there was a problem with how thick they were, they didn't fit in the caliper, what I did was hit them lightly with a hammer (being careful not to damage anything), and they fit fine.
