Review on 🚴 High-Quality Bicycle Disc Brake Pads for Avid Mechanical BB5 (Resin, Semi-Metallic, Sintered Metal) - 2 Pairs by Matthew Miles

I have BB5 calipers and was concerned the BB7 pads might be thicker - a few comments here about them being too thick and needing a grind. I saw that the edges were very shiny so I sanded them lightly with 120 grit sandpaper without sanding hard. With the caliper off the bike, the cable disconnected, cleaned well, and the prop bolt fully open, these pads engaged with very little effort. Stopping power is about the same as any other Brand-X I've used. Only time will tell how long they last on my dusty dirt roads.
