Description of πŸ”§ Palmetto Expanded Graphite Compression Packing: Ideal Solution for Hydraulics, Pneumatics & Plumbing

Compression packing seal protects rotating pumps and valves from fluid leaks in applications with chemical or abrasive slurries. Interwoven braid of ePTFE and graphite yarns provides resistance to harsh chemicals and dissipates heat. Inert lubricant extends packing life by reducing break-in time and frictional heat. Maximum pressure limit of 1,900 psi. Operates across a wide temperature range from -400 to 550 degrees F (-240 to 288 degrees C).

Ideal for boat stuffing boxes

Used for boat stuffing boxes. Much better than the old linen and wax technology. So few drops and better heat resistance.

Pros
  • Interlocking braid of ePTFE and graphite filaments provides resistance to harsh chemicals and dissipates heat
Cons
  • Quick Guide
