I would put 5 but there were tire mounting issues.

I would put 5 but it was difficult to seal the tubeless tire. After two installs due to rim lip leaks finally eliminated a double dose of Stan's (4 oz) should be taken (2 oz)! But now it works!

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

One of Classic's best tires

I ride hard and rocky all mountain enduro trails. I inflate tires like baby balloons. This tire is a real find. Amazing traction, durability and low cost. I wear it on the front of my IBIS Mojo HD3 and it's strong and grippy when worn over a hard backpack. I have a 2.4 DHR 2 in the rear.

Pros
  • Good Stuff
Cons
  • Upgrade available

Great old school tire

I had these on my 26" GT Pantera Custom mountain bike (frame from 1998, Full XT) with hardtail and never had a problem with them; I've been riding them for many years. After purchasing a new dual-suspension bike, I wanted to replace the massive 2.6" wide Hans Dampf tires that tend to wash out too much and float around corners. I live in the Midwest where there are a lot of hills and rocks to negotiate. These tires feel very good and give me the confidence back to corner with confidence. Noโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

Great grip, not as wide as I was hoping

They replaced a pair of Vittoria Mezcal 2.25s In comparison, the Mezcal 2.25s look about the same size if you count the grips as part of the width , and the Fire Pro 2.35 case is smaller according to my probes. I ride a hardtail and was hoping that the high-volume tire would help absorb some of the impact...no luck, I do feel a bit of rolling resistance on flat, slick sections of trail, but that's to be expected if you're more of a bike XC change a trail/all-mountain tire. They are quite easyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • There are new competitors
