Short in width, big in traction

This is a light, medium-thick tire that rolls and corners well with good traction. I haven't ridden it in muddy conditions, just dry and loose over a tough pack. It took quite a bit of sealant to install tubeless. The sidewalls seem a bit thin, after driving on the rock garden the sidewalls got wet with sealant for several days but eventually they stopped. I've only had a few rides with them and they seem to be holding up. Their width is almost 3.0 with 52 mm wide rims.

Pros
  • Great grip for excellent cornering
Cons
  • Poorly designed

Fits well in my Non-Plus frame

At 720 grams this tire was pretty good for the rear of my MTB. This is the largest "plus" tire I could find to fit the rear. At 18psi of riding pressure, it's 2.54 inches on my 29mm Mercury internal wheel. I've ridden it on rocky and root-covered trails and it's held up pretty well so far. It also doesn't leak sealant and holds air pretty well. I wouldn't use this tire as a true plus tire, but if you're looking for something that fits in a non-plus frame, this tire is definitely worth a look.

Pros
  • Up to 20psi
Cons
  • Some trouble

Nice light lightweight tire

I have mounted these tubeless tires on 50mm rims these have been some of the toughest tubeless tires I have mounted if you don't have a heavy duty supercharger to beat the ball I to assemble would say not even try. The width is closer to 3 inches than the advertised 3.5 inches, but that's okay. It also took me a heck of a lot of time to get them to hold the air, the light sidewalls allow for a lot of slow leaks, I had to add glitter to the sealant to keep the 15psi for more than a few days…

Pros
  • Lightweight only a gram
Cons
  • No

Plus size IS nimble

The tire actually measures just under 3 inches on a 49mm rim but as there aren't too many plus size tires available these days I'm not complaining. excellent (needs almost no sealant) and rolls fast. I run it at around 13-14psi on my fat bike with (experimental, custom) WTB scraper rims. So far the tire has good grip and handles rough terrain with / I hit hard a couple of times and was afraid of pinching the sidewall but the tire has been ok. Wanted to try a plus size on my fat man for summer…

Pros
  • 120 TPI Aramid (Kevlar) Bead
Cons
  • Fits
