Suitable for a heavy rider

I installed it on the rear wheel of my road bike. With a width of 27", 1 1/8" and a pressure under 70-75 psi, it works well. My weight is 250 pounds and I have no problem.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Doubtful

My Panaracer Pasela has a serious defect, it can no longer be handled

I ordered two Panaracer Pasela 650x25C tires and one of them turned out to have a factory defect that no longer makes it made manageable. About 20cm of tires are a few millimeters smaller than the rest. That might not sound like much, but it creates a huge flat spot that makes the tire noticeably 'slap' every half second of riding. I bought the tires on April 2nd but unfortunately due to the Covid-19 lockdown I was not able to find the problem until June. Too late to return to seller who is not

It's good to have a choice!

My bike uses 650C tires with a bead saddle diameter of 571mm. Almost all 650's are narrow narrow race tires and in fact this size was/is used almost exclusively on time trial and triathlon bikes. Unfortunately, there are very few tires with wider widths and better profile for general use, training, commuting etc. This tire is perfect for those needs. I wish it had a Kevlar (aramid fiber) bead instead of wire, but that would probably be a waste of money for a non-racing tire. Despite the…

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Nothing wrong with that, everything is fine

It is all black except for a very pretty yellow/red label on the side panel

This version does not have Flat Security. I didn't have any ballerinas, they're all black, except for a very nice yellow and red label on the side wall. The 66 TPI rides well and I don't know of a better 27 inch tire. It's funny, but it seems that with all the interest and love for all things 'vintage', any manufacturer other than Panasonic could come up with a good tire. I currently have one and they are really good. The only complaint I have is that I can't figure out why the tread pattern is

Pros
  • Absolutely stunning!
Cons
  • Some bugs

Not bad just watch out for flat tires

I bought this tire because I wanted a tire that was more comfortable than the 650cx23. The ripper is very flexible with a nice flexible sidewall and the larger volume allows me to work with less pressure. However, the central part of the tread is still thin, although thicker than the rest of the tyre. I got two flats from Spikes on my first trip, which never happened to me. I suspect it might be a coincidence, I think it's a combination of that and the thinner profile compared to the tires I'm…

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • There are problems
