Judging by the description and other reviews I thought the range would be better. I have a large yard and don't expect the phone to cover everything, but I was hoping for more, front and back. Moving the base from the top floor to the bottom didn't help. I did better with my broken 900mhz phone. I would also like a call button (on/off) and a volume control for the handset.
