I was hesitant to try the matte protection because of the usual downsides of using it, but I went for this one anyway. It has all the benefits of a matte screen protector: more like paper, potentially more pen control when writing, less glare. I've tried about five times and it literally always (sort of) crap comes out. This really upset me, and I ended up just throwing it away.

NOTE: Received item for free through Vine I write a lot on my iPad for work. The glass structure works well, but when I discovered the existence of these films I had to try. I have quite a bit of experience installing a screen protector and this wasn't my first experience with a screen protector on my iPad but using a frame is always nice so I decided to order one. The paper-like screen protector is fantastic. Since COVID-19, I have to do a lot of paperwork on the iPad, and when writing directly on the screen, sometimes it's not easy to control the pen, so I chose paper that looks like a screen. Apple Pencil makes it feel like writing on paper, Apple Pencil doesn't get stuck and moves very smoothly. It wasn't difficult to install, but I still managed to get a few specks of dust on the screen when installing the cover. This resulted in the screen having to be pulled out, cleaned with the adhesive paper that came with it, and then stuck back on. The installation kit works great and includes a large cleaning cloth and then a piece of lint free cloth. I saw my friend draw this on his iPad so I found out about this clever design. I've always hesitated to use the iPad for drawing and note-taking and this has made things a lot easier. Recommended for those who use their iPad a lot.
