🔗 3/16 Inch Elastic Bungee Nylon Shock Cord by Paracord Planet Review

I bought this to make custom length cords for my camera traps. It's always frustrating when the cable that came with the camera is a few inches too short to wrap around a large tree. With this I can make multiple cords so that I have a length that suits each tree.

This was just the right size to fix my anti-gravity chair when the elastic broke. For those wondering, the cord is enough to replace the bottom and top cords on either side. The color wasn't quite brown. more of a lighter tan with hints of khaki, but it goes well with my dark brown stool.

Just what I wanted, easy to trim (singers the edges after trimming). I am adding new bindings to my kayak. I cut lengths of the bungee cord and burn the edges to keep it from unraveling. I thread the string through the metal clips and then tie a knot at the top. Then I can hold my rods, tackle boxes and other gear. Very satisfied, I will order more.

I bought a 3/16 inch brown elastic cord for my SUP. I wanted it to fit better than the black I currently use. it should have been for a 3/16 inch diameter. Not sure if the bungee cord is a little over 3/16" long or if the holes in the cord lock were a little under 3/16". It went very tight through the cord lock. Bought to wrap a Brazos cane. This should be achieved in the coming days. Despite the name goldenrod. The photo looked more orange than what was received. What I received was the color more yellow than anything else. The photo shows a yellow paracord on an orange keyboard. I prefer the orange color shown in the selection I made.

This turned out to be a good replacement for the elastic cord I had on my kayaks which had deteriorated over the years from the sun and salt water. The line was a little thinner than what came out of them, but it was actually a good thing because it was easier to thread through the installed loops on the kayaks without removing them.
