Make no mistake, this is not Parafilm

This is plastic tape, not Parafilm. Parafilm is an adhesive tape based on a wax film that dissolves over time and is ideal for grafting and propagating trees. However, this film will not dissipate over time, it will smother your graft if you leave it in place.

Empty packaging for tape

I have a flat envelope under the mat, I think someone is playing a trick on me, I hold it up to the light and I can't see anything but a thin dark shadow on the edge, me was afraid to take care when opening (everything was sealed by the way) when opening it was just an empty envelope! With nothing inside.

Great after the 2021 south Texas freeze.

This winter we spent a few hours at 7F in San Antonio, Texas. All of my citrus fruits are frozen, well covered, even when it's hot. The roots were preserved so that rootstock growth was restored. My first attempt at grafting failed, but I'm trying again by following another YouTube video. You need a lot of this tape to play this game. But it's fun.

High quality, ideal for budding and grafting

Wow I was very surprised when I received this roll of tape. When I started I rolled it out and cut off a piece to make it very thick. I practiced on a pencil to stretch it before using it for my cut outs. This tape starts in very thick sections to a great length. I ended up using cuttings from fig cuttings because they stretched a lot. I bought a $35 roll of Bud grafting tape and this one works just as well. It would be good for grafting and bud grafting. I would highly recommend it to anyone…

Holds grafts well and grows with them.

I recommend this for several reasons: 1) It is very flexible and will grow with the graft within the first month or two. I suggest removing it once the scion has hardened. 2) After removing it once the scion has hardened, when you unroll it from the scion it will form a great elastic band to hold the grafted scion to the stem or support rod. in case a strong wind tears down a perfectly established graft. This year I did 10 vaccinations and 4 jump shots to fix damage caused by mice and voles…

I suggest watching a youtube video on how to use

This product is difficult if you have no experience with it. I found out about the vaccination tape on YouTube and I doubt I would have had any success if it weren't for the video. All of my grafts have taken root except for one, but it's my own fault for breaking it. I grew up watching my parents and grandparents get spruced up the old fashioned dirty way. It was a rare case that the vaccine didn't take root. I've seen this hundreds of times but my first, second and third attempts were…

Makes vaccination more successful, easy to use, fast delivery.

God, that made vaccination a lot easier. Too bad it can't improve my technique! Well, it's a matter of learning and trying. I'm glad I bought this parafilm graft because it helped me hold the split grafts I did firmly together and still allow the graft to breathe and grow. I've done five so far. Nothing came out of my first three with parafilm - my beginner technique, not film. But one grows (I think it's a scion or rootstock that grows). I've made two more and I hope each one is better than…

Easy to use and really WORKS

I have been buying Revain products for over 15 years and this is my first review because I want other hobby growers/gardeners like me to feel the joy of successful transplants. I paid full price for the purchase, so this review was not influenced in any way by the seller. finally came across a video from Parafilmband. My success rate is now around 70%, and most of the grafts that didn't take root were the result of poor technique on my part (branches don't quite match, dirty/dirty cutting tools

Works wonders for restoring broken plants

I don't graft much but I once accidentally snapped off the main stem of a miniature tomato that had a lot of ripe tomatoes. It broke at the junction of the stems and most of the top of the plant and the tomatoes would have been lost. I propped it up as best I could and ordered this finishing tape which arrived very quickly. I wrapped the gap and propped it up with a stake to give it extra support. I also noticed that another long branch was bent but not broken. I wrapped the broken trunk and…
