Significantly small for cockatiels, and remember the male will want to widen the entrance. This is not possible with a metal sleeve around the entrance. This box might fit parrots, but not cockatiels.

This box is made from very soft wood. I bought this box for my kennels, after a few days they managed to bite through the bottom of the box and escape. They attacked my other birds and bit their legs. Now I have a useless box and birds with bloody legs. WHEN YOU COMPLETE YOUR PURCHASE, DO NOT SAY YOU WERE NOT WARNED.

Perfect! Exactly what I was looking for. Good product. My parakeet loves walking in her new aviary. I have only good things to say about this box. I bought a large size for my parrots. The box is of very good quality. It had everything you need to hang it from a cage.

My cockatiels love this box - maybe too much. As you can see from the photo, they chewed it up in no time. (That's in 2 days!) Hope this lasts until breeding season. The wood is too soft to last long. Also, be sure to check the dimensions. This box (XL) is large and may not fit many cages. Good design and comfortable for both birds to fit at the same time. Would give a higher rating if the wood was stronger.

Should work great. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the hole for the front dowel was not big enough so it had to be adjusted. The wood is very soft, let's see if it holds up. It's a big box maybe a bigger one could have been used but I wanted them to have enough space to be in there together and they have a big apartment style cage so I knew it would fit. Therefore, before purchasing the XL, you should measure your cage to ensure you have enough space for it. I also wish it had the concave…
