🖍️ Vibrant Collection: Conté à Paris 24 Assorted Colors Pastel Pencils Review

Superb Pastel Pencils. I particularly like that they are slightly larger in diameter than normal pencils. Large selection of colors.

The tip of this one broke off the first time a new pencil was used. I tried sharpening it 3 times using 3 different methods but the shaft just cracked and the pencil kept breaking. Neither Revane nor attempting to contact Conte directly will replace that pencil. Very disappointed. :-(

I've never tried pastel, I remember using it at school to make a mess! But they are so smooth that when you apply a fixer they don't get dirty. I think it's better to just go to town! Get out the newspaper, try it! I did and I'll say I'm an art supply snob! Very picky and hard to please so it was easy to impress me with!

The pigments are fantastic but a lot of my pencils have chipped and all the color has come out and the rest can't be used. I had to buy a metal pencil because they are thicker than normal pencils but still break. I liked the colors but the quality of the sticks was disappointing.
