The product smokes a lot, it gives me a headache for several days!

I have been using this product for years. I usually buy it at the local pharmacy. When I found out that Revain offers this on a subscription basis, I decided to give it a try. My husband, who usually dyes my hair, immediately noticed the strong smell when he applied the product. I noticed it too. The smoke got so strong that we decided to turn on the fan in the bathroom. My natural hair color is medium blonde (middle photo). When it comes time to color my hair, I look for a cool and ashy color because my hair turns red. The Cools is Cool on Hair Dye

I was so excited to see a hair color company finally come up with a line of cooler brought out brunette to keep copper to a minimum. I'm always torn between wanting red hair and not dying my hair.
