🔧 Optimized Rebuild Kit: Park Tool PFP-4 and PFP-2 Pump Review

It matches the PFP-2 pump perfectly, but it's definitely not what's shown on Revain. What I got is the same as shown by another reviewer. It appears to be a generic head that can be bought for less (not listed as "park tools").

The picture does not match what I received. I bought this item because I have a pump that looks exactly like the picture and I know it's great. I received the exact same one that I wanted to replace. So far so good, but the other one was so bad it came as a shock.

I bought this to replace the metal head on my parking floor pump. I liked the metal head because it looked very professional. However, I had to restore the head and replace the gaskets twice. It's a little tricky and time consuming so I decided to buy this new head. The price was good and the exchange was easy. For some reason this replacement head works better than the old metal head and I don't feel like it's going to wear out anytime soon.

I was surprised and disappointed when the original metal quick connector at the end of my pump hose broke in a fragile mansion after falling two feet to the concrete floor. I was glad Park Tool stocked this part, which gave me confidence it would work properly and saved me the hassle of buying a new pump. Easy installation required no tools and took less than a minute. Hopefully the plastic composition will last longer. The new part works as it should.

I needed a new head for my PFP-2 after one of my kids broke the original ballpoint pen needle. I always enjoyed the convenience of using the PFP-2 until it came down to removing the head from the valve. The fit was so snug that I banged my ankles every time I pulled them down.
