great for pannier

minus one star they are so "short" that sometimes they are really uncomfortable to use because they cannot be rotated with good play

Pros
  • great price
Cons
  • negative

Really bad quality.

They have a very rough unfinished surface and look like they are made out of cheap metal. The blue plastic case isn't tight enough to hold the keys securely and they keep falling out and being lost. Bad value.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Almost never

Take the HXS-1.2 instead.

The short end of these hex bolts are pretty much useless and it's too difficult to get torque on the bolt to use the long end. Choose HXS-1.2 instead. They are a bit more expensive, but you can actually work with them.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Do your job well for Wrenches

These are standard hex wrenches and they just do the job. A friend bought a good quality SnapOn set for 4 times the price, but I'm happy with the quality of other Park Tool tools so I have no problem fixing my bike. The only comment is that the short end of these hexes is too short.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Frequency

Small, efficient and light enough: a good product.

I bought these for my wife's pannier. I've had a similar set of Park Tools in my bag for years and have used them many times. They work great, are relatively light, fit in a smaller bag, and are much more efficient than a multi-tool that does a lot of things inefficiently.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Good but not great

The gold standard for bike tools!

The Park Tool is the gold standard for bike tools. I have always been pleased with their tools and this set is no exception. A fairly basic range covering almost 95% of everything you need for your bike including the usual 4mm/5mm for most parts plus the 8mm you need if you have Shimano pedals. I also recommend the Park Tool Torque Wrench Set, sold separately.

Pros
  • An Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Some Problems
