At first they are pleasant and bright. Then they began to flicker. Unplug the board from the HVAC again, my solders were fine but the resistor on the back of the LED was loose. They were all resolved in the same place. I will not order them again. They are cold soldered. See photo air conditioning and defrost flicker.

The headlights were a little brighter than the original when installed, but that was liveable. For a short while they were in the majority, all flickering on and off, some off all the way, and now if you drive it day or night you risk a fit! You shouldn't waste your time and effort installing them and turning them off so quickly.

I've wanted to try it for a long time. I wanted to convert the lightbulbs in the steering wheel buttons to LEDs, but space was limited so I wasn't sure if it would be easy to put a combination of LEDs and resistors in there. The SMD form factor and the resistor built into it was the perfect solution. There was plenty of free space and they are VERY bright! Definitely recommended

These things are incredibly bright! I haven't had a chance to fit them into my truck yet but I have tested them at 9 volts and they all work and they are all very bright! From what I've read these things only require 1.5 volts to light up so it will be interesting to see how they install. PLEASE NOTE: LEDs only pass current from one side. So if you test them like I did and they don't light up, swap positive and negative.

Made three colors and a red, white and blue theme. That's great! The resistor is built in, so no additional resistor is needed for 12V clusters. Ignore any feedback that they don't work, they need to be soldered properly, both positive and negative. I just connected the disassembled cluster and put the LED on the contacts to understand how to install. If you're rough with the wires, they can come loose from the bulb, but they're easily soldered to the back of the bulb. These things emit light…

They work very well. The legs are a bit wider than a standard LED, but that's not a problem unless you plan to mount them completely flush with the board (unlikely). The only problem I had with my cluster (2000 Bonneville) was that the security light came back on in the machine shortly after installing this cluster.
