Catastrophic failure with no use. Installed everything yesterday. Not too difficult. Add some Loctite for extra security. Today is a solo trip. Welds literally came off without help. Haven't tested them yet. That's easy. hit. fell. I want a 50 percent refund so I can pay the welder to get it right.

. Installed it on my son-in-law's bike and when my daughter first used it to get on the bike it broke causing a knee injury. As you can see it only had three spot welds to hold the running board. That's not a good job, you have to be a complete welder. Very badly done. I only gave that one star because it's the lowest I can do.

Kit includes everything needed for installation. Installation was pretty easy after watching a YouTube video. Basically I bought this kit because I couldn't find the passenger footpegs and body block on my own. The passenger seat is junk and I will replace it soon, also I plan to replace the footpegs. I know there have been many negative reviews about stud welding, but surprisingly mine turned out to be well welded. Once you have this swirl box, you can do anything.

Get the same seat from Yamaha for about $80 more. There were instructions but they weren't very helpful and the pictures were blurry. There are good assembly videos on YouTube, so there won't be any problems. The nuts that attach the bracket to the seat were the wrong size and required an extra trip to the hardware store. The seat structure is similar to the same material as the OEM front seat. The pegs look very solid and installation is intuitive.

This item also goes perfectly with the 2019 Bolt R spec that I have. I checked the Yamaha parts catalog online, for several years of production both plain and R spec bolts they all have the same part numbers meaning any aftermarket seats will fit as well. It was pretty quick delivery and half the price. Yamaha brand seats. Looks very nice on the bike. I don't plan on carrying many passengers (if any), but I like the passenger seat, the bar, the trunk on the bike. There were instructions but…
