Not Worth the Money

Based on our own experience, this electronics-based product was a complete waste of money. The video quality was extremely poor and the device often lost connection. The only positive aspect was that it was easy to set up. However, this does not outweigh the countless issues we experienced while using it. We do not recommend this product for anyone looking for reliable surveillance equipment.

Pros
  • Easy to install and use.
Cons
  • Limited range for transmission and reception of signals.

Wrong part received

I ordered an 8 channel passive video balun and received an active video balun (1 channel - Rx/Tx). Received return label and ordered again. Got a new order - 5 stars for aluminum body and performance (so far)

Pros
  • Video transmission systems
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Works great but you will need 2 (one on each end)

Helps reduce the amount of cables needed to run from one location to another. Keep in mind that this only transmits video, not audio or power. You must provide electricity at the location of the cameras to power them. In my case, I have a couple of cameras at home, but I put the recorder in a shipping container that I use for the barn. So I only needed 2 Cat6 cables (works with Cat5e but I only use 6 because I had one) for 8 cameras. Since I have 32 cameras I have 4 of them on each end…

Pros
  • CCTV Equipment
Cons
  • I'll write later
