Disappointing Yarn Colors for Arts and Crafts

This yarn pack had limited color options and the ones provided weren't vibrant or pleasing to the eye. While the yarn was soft and easy to work with, the lack of selection left me feeling unimpressed and unlikely to purchase from this brand again.

Pros
  • Soft texture
Cons
  • Limited and unappealing color options.

Good quality

I have not used these particular strands but I have used others. Kroy yarn represents excellent value for money, although I've found prices go up as popularity increases. Still inexpensive. Fits wonderfully! I saw other socks in knitting groups on Facebook so I bought these.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Fade

Using the standard softness test (an oxymoron in sock yarn) I ran it off my lips. It has a much smaller halo than the weight of the Nature Spun Sport shown strand by strand above, but it's made of 25% nylon, a man-made material that's extruded as a thread several kilometers long to mimic silk (it was produced during World War I to replace silk in stockings so silk could be used for parachute cords, taking the best to sustain life, always far more valuable than fashion). I know from Patons Kroy…

Pros
  • Easy to Use
Cons
  • Concise Instructions
