Great book on model building.

I should have had this book after checking it out from the library. This is a great updated template design and instructions. Age appropriate without being too dated or retro. I haven't used the book to see if the instructions are clear and easy to follow, but at this point I already know how to block patterns and change them to my liking. For what reason? It is not clear how the process is described.

I was happy to order this book in the hope that I can learn how to make my own bodice blocks and actually make something awesome. I don't know what I missed, but it seems that part is missing completely. Might be wrong and quite blond but I have a page with the dimensions needed for the block and then a block with no explanation of how to take the numbers and make it. The lock page says to print 100% but like I said I'm totally lost and don't know what to do. Maybe I should read on, but I don't

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

Like a Ph.D. As a fashion design student, there are a number of other more in-depth books that I would recommend for those who are more serious about model making or want to…
