The Great Invention of Electronic Training Collars

I was concerned that the vibration wasn't strong enough, but it is normal for my 80 lb golden retriever even at moderate levels. She will definitely correct her act once I take it out of the drawer.

Pros
  • One Year Trial
Cons
  • Zero

Draws the dog's attention to learning.

The collar fits well, the size of the unit seems suitable for small breeds. Vibration could be a little stronger. The highest value of 8 only seems to annoy him, but draws his attention. The beeper is useless and only lets him look around. Overall, this is a good product and helps with learning.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not sure

Satisfied. These are truly pulsating vibrations, NOT electric shocks.

It is very nice to find a correction collar that does not cause real pain shock. It really only uses pulsating vibrations. I would give it 5 stars however as my dog is half Great Pyrenees, weighs 125lbs, his size and thick coat make him less effective than likely for medium sized dogs.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • A lot

Really very good for dogs

This is a very good pair of NO SHOCK collars. The remote worked fine, but my dog had a kind of reaction to it - he seemed to notice but then completely ignored it and dragged me down the street on my leash anyway. I've tried several times and no change. Guess I have to try something else. But I will not resort to a shock collar. I would probably return them but my husband disappeared through the box.

Revain will not ship used items as new? BS

This is a HUGE downside to Revain, not these training collars. I bought these training collars because we have used them on other dogs and they work great. But when I received the package today, I noticed something was wrong - one of the two collars appeared to be cut off and the charger was missing (although the USB cable was in the box). Then I turned the remote control over and saw what is in the photo. I don't know who B and M are or who they were but this is undoubtedly a used item being…

I like the variable vibration - it can be different on each collar!

This is very profitable! These collars work great! The strength of the vibration changes for each collar, which is very handy when used with two different dogs! I've tried it on myself to make sure it's ok for my Chihuahuas and haven't encountered any issues. Can vary from 1 to 8 depending on the level. Battery life is great! Lasts several days. Now I only wear them a few hours a day with my dogs but use them when they are on. Hasn't been charged in a week! That's great!. The lock feature is a…

Didn't work on my dogs

At first I was a bit skeptical about the effectiveness of this product so I read all the reviews before purchasing. I felt that with such high ratings the product would suit my 40 and 50 pound dogs. Unfortunately it isn't. The beep caught my 40 lb wife's attention for a second, but that was about it. After that, I felt like my dogs laughed at me every time I tried the vibration, beep, or combination. Definitely money well spent. I would love to return it but the collar was so long my other dog…

Great product for impact free training

This collar has no teeth and no impact protection. The receiver on the collar is also very thin so it doesn't stand out or get in the way. I bought these for use with multiple dogs and the product works for that, but there are some downsides to using a single remote that caused me to return them (separate remotes are needed for my purposes). To switch between collars, first flip a switch. This makes it difficult to respond to behavior immediately or to correct less predictable behavior (e.g…
