It is a nice looking, precisely made, and fits well. However I was looking for one that would mainly make the MacBook easier to grip. Some of the reviews implied it would, It definitely does not. If there is any measurable difference in grip, it probably could only be measured with special equipment.It is a well made and nice looking case and is well worth the money, but don't buy it if you are looking for something to increase the feel of a better grip.After almost 2 months, case still held up

Great protection and good looks.except.the only reason for 4 stars is that it easily collects fingerprints when handling. Fairly easy to clean off, but it's a pain to have to constantly deal with fingerprints.

I was a solid user and advocate for Speck Cases on any and all of my MacBooks. Recently they began cracking and purchasing new (old stock) Speck Cases they would arrive intact and crack as soon as I applied them. Yes, brand new $50 cases where simply dropping pieces or cracking corners with normal use. Honestly buy it! I've had my MacBook since 2015 and this is not my first time buying this case. My previous case lasted for YEARS with minimal wear or damage. I use my MacBook quite intensively between work, grad school, and personal use and the case has helped my MacBook to remain perfectly in tact. The case fits perfectly snug and is lightweight enough to not notice a major difference. This case is definitely worth the money spent!
