neat and narrow best in my rating

My 4 year old wears a 10.5 or 11, I bought a 11.5. It's tight on the toes but fits well. He seems to walk comfortably in it and get up and off his feet easily.

Pros
  • The Pediped Sahara Flat for unisex kids features durable outsole protection making it durable and perfect for tough play. The materials used in the construction are carefully selected to withstand the daily wear and tear.
Cons
  • Shoes can be more expensive than other similar options, making them less affordable for some families.

I love her. I'll probably get more for mine.

I love her. I'll probably get more for my little guy. They are very comfortable, they like the reinforced toe box and they can get wet. I wish they dried faster but that's my only minor complaint.

Pros
  • Uncomfortable for my son's thick legs.
Cons
  • The Lightning design can wear down over time, making the shoe look worn and outdated.

seems narrow good for me

This was very closely linked to Pediped's reputation. I like the perspective of the design, as in the picture, but in person it looked like an old man's slipper, not "popular" enough to dress a toddler on.

Pros
  • Great shoes.
Cons
  • The low-profile design may not provide enough arch support for children who need it.

Not wide shoes as described

I ordered them to replace m with a width that doesn't fit. The width of these shoes was exactly the same, not the width as stated in the description. Sent them back and ended up ordering a pair of crocs that fit perfectly.

Pros
  • Great
Cons
  • Size 22 EU may not be available for all children's feet, which limits availability.

Comfortable, high mileage, slippery

These sandals seem very comfortable for my 4 year old city wear. They are big - I bought him 9 as usual and they are too long but he wore them all summer anyway - hopefully enough for two. Theo's only problem is that they are very slippery on wet rock. I was hoping Keen would replace our outdoor adventures, but he slipped everywhere. Best for city/yard/park.

Pros
  • Cool and comfortable! Easy to turn on and off!
Cons
  • Shoes may not be strong enough for active children who cannot tolerate shoes.

This is my son's third pair! :)

My son loves these shoes so much that this is his third summer! (I had to resize each year as he grew.) They're comfortable, super cute, and dry quickly. Perfect for little adventures!

Pros
  • Fits as expected. US size 8.5. Great for my little man to run outside all day.
Cons
  • Shoes may need regular cleaning to maintain their appearance and prevent stains.

Sandals are great, unlike shoes!

Really high mileage as most reviews say. Size 24 pediped flex shoes fit well so I bought pediped size 25 / US 8-8.5 but it turned out to be that big. The Stride Rite US 9 fits my son but these sandals are too big.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • The 2E width may be too wide for some children's feet, causing the shoes to slip off.

So far I absolutely love these. The gait appears normal and does not change with the footwear. It makes me incredibly happy ๐Ÿ˜† Great for the summer and to slip into.

Pros
  • Just the right size for my 9 year old and very comfortable to wear.
Cons
  • The Lightning theme may be too bright or distracting for a school setting.

The strap broke after the first wear.

I have been buying these sandals for several years and I am very satisfied with them. This pair had a strap that came undone after the first wear. I was able to attach it by sewing it back on. Otherwise the sandals are great. They seemed to be running on a smaller side than usual.

Pros
  • Comfortable sandals that don't scratch
Cons
  • Shoes may not be breathable enough for kids who sweat a lot or live in hot climates.

Perfect fit: my rating

Very soft and fit perfectly. My son loves her. He had a similar pair last year but in a different color which he wore all the time just outgrew them.

Pros
  • These shoes are great! Very comfortable and stylish. Above all, they are ideal for wide feet. I love her.
Cons
  • The Lightning theme can be difficult to pair with some outfits, limiting their versatility.

Great shoes for toddlers

I bought these for my grandson. He has narrow legs while Keane has a wide crotch. These hold up great. They will outgrow them before they wear out and the best part is they don't smell.

Pros
  • Great shoes. Good quality and very cute. But much more than expected
Cons
  • The Lightning theme may not appeal to all children, limiting its overall appeal.

Ideal for growing toddlers

We love these shoes. Third time I buy this style with no problems. Even in everyday life no significant signs of wear. He wore them at ages 1, 2 and 3 and we never had any problems. Can be worn as a water shoe or as a summer casual shoe. Just a note, the different sizing makes them seem a little big at first (they always look a little big at the start of the season, but when he stops wearing them in the summer he grows into them), but the strap on top allows you to secure them so they don'tโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Shoes
Cons
  • Available in white only

Flexible, durable, ideal for active toddlers

Bought a second pair of Pediped Sahara Flex after my daughter outgrew the pair she wore to kindergarten and weekends last summer. I firmly believe in investing in quality shoes and they are worth it. Super flexible, supportive and durable. Like last year I bought a size up in spring (22 although 21 is perfect) so they will last until fall. Even with enough room to grow, these sandals are still stable on your feet as the strap tightens right at the ankle. And they are washable!

Pros
  • Girls
Cons
  • Only available in black

Very light and flexible, a little too big

I printed out the size chart with my foot and measured my 20 month old's foot and his big toe was a size 24 so I hesitated to order 23 or 24 and finally I chose size 24. They are a bit big but didn't cause any tripping, but I decided to return them a size smaller. My little one wears 7W in Stride-Rite shoes for reference and the pedal shoes were too wide for his feet. The shoes were so light and very flexible that they were perfect for confident hikers who still occasionally stumble on roughโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sandals
Cons
  • Unfashionable
