in the best case. While looking at PDF

. I have a 2014 gmc acadia tire size 255/65/18. At best they went about 3/4 of the tire. While browsing the PDF I also went to the website for confirmation and it said they fit. NOT RIGHT! The concept is amazing but unfortunately a big disappointment. I ended up going to o'Reilys and buying cable chains. Also, if you're trying to fit an SUV, make sure you don't need "S" compatible chains. I hope they fix the size difference. Do your due diligence guys and read the reviews!

Pros
  • . Don't go over 30 mph with these chains on
Cons

The manufacturer's website contains incorrect sizing information. Bought .

Manufacturer's website has incorrect sizing information. Bought for 4Runner, tire size 265/70-16. The Peerless website told me that this is the correct model for that tire size, but after spending half a day wrestling with them and watching a couple of installation videos, I found that they didn't match my tires in any way fit, they are too small. I bought them a year ago, didn't need them last winter and just tried to install them, so it's too late to return them. Post this as it might prevent

Saved our lives, worth the money

Saved us from serious injury or death. Was heading to Bighorn National Forest in Wyoming when it snowed. I was pulling our 4,500-pound airflow just as we started sliding to the right. I tried to keep moving, but the truck's wheels slipped and we continued to slide down the slope to the right. I stopped and put those chains on and the Walla Presco problem was solved. We continued up the hill. Putting them on when your heart is pounding and it's freezing cold and dark out in the mountains and you

Bad product quality!

I received the package 2 days ago, the chains looked good and strong. As this will be my first ride in heavy snow I figured I would buy a more expensive product provided the quality was reflected in the price. However, one of the chains broke within the first 5 miles after I had it installed by professional chain installers. At first I thought everything was fine after attaching one of the accessory rings to the chain where it had snapped. But over the next 5 miles or so the same chain broke…

Sizing for Honda Odyssey

So I didn't know what size to go for my van either. Tire size: 235/60-18. The owner's manual recommends using 231905 and the size chart on Revain and Auto-Trac's website recommends 232405. I called Auto-Trac to report conflicting sizes and they confirmed they would use 232405 and the CS agent supported their size chart. I went ahead and ordered what the user manual recommended (231905) and when I opened the box the label on the chains (0231905) shows compatibility with 235/60R18 among other…

Fits snugly on a 2012 Odyssey

Autotrac chain 0231805 on a 2012 Odyssey with original 235/65 R17 tyres. Be sure to adjust properly before use. It suits my Odyssey but is VERY cozy. It must be "perfect" before the two outward-pointing lugs snap into place. After fixing, there is about 1 "click" of tightening. If you find yourself in snow or mud, installation can be tricky as there is almost no extra clearance. Also on sale at Walmart is 231810, which also matches my Odyssey. It's strange that the peerless page doesn't have a…

LOVE these chains just no flimsy tensioners

I would like to give 5 stars because I just LOVE these chains! So easy to install, I even installed them when the car was stuck (after some digging). I have 2 pairs (front and rear) for my 2008 Range Rover Sport and the performance of these chainrings is excellent, they will not let you down whether you are riding wet heavy icy PNW terrain or plowing through unkempt roads; These chains definitely work. However, as some previous reviews have noted, this "heavyweight" polymer ratchet doesn't…

Excellent and easy to install chains for deep snow.

I just bought a second pair of these rims for my new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. I had two pairs for my previous 2005 Jeep Rubicon with BFG Duratracs, size LT245/75R16. I use them to get to our self-contained cabin atop the Colorado Front Ridge at 8100 feet, and that adds up a few times each winter, most recently in mid-May when nearly two feet of snow fell in late spring. Yes, I can still get all 4 wheels spinning even with 4 of them on and the diff-lock on, but that usually happens when the snow…
