For decoration only. It cannot be climbed by snakes etc. as it is unstable and has sharp edges. I would NOT buy again and would not recommend.

Pros
  • Expand your reptile's habitat with this green climbing branch, which looks realistic with tendrils, twigs and leaves. The texture of this climbing vine looks and feels natural
Cons
  • Updates

Poor quality, good for fish and aquatic animals

On arrival the colour/texture on the vine itself is already peeling off, revealing the white material (paper?) underneath. Some of the smaller vines detach from the main vines, exposing the same white paper. I didn't even try to take it out of the box or unpack it because I think it will fall apart. Don't buy this

Pros
  • This reptile climbing stick is 5 feet long and up to 5 inches wide. Made from durable metal core surrounded by paper mache and non-toxic to your pet.
Cons
  • So far so good

Deceptive image in Ornaments

I bought it for my lizard. I thought I had the green version but the brown vine color in the picture would have been nice too. Unfortunately the product did not match the picture. It was more of a rust color, and the moss green contrasted horribly with that color. I had to send it back which led to even more problems.

Pros
  • Sturdy enough for lizards, chameleons, tree frogs, geckos and other small reptiles to climb up. This vine can also be used to enhance habitats for turtles, snakes and other terrariums.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

strong enough to unfold and install.

When I first got this I was a little disappointed that there was nothing in it to actually put the vine in the Viva. However, the vine is strong enough that once you unroll it and place it in an aquarium using the walls and soil for support, it probably won't go anywhere. My Kresty likes to climb on him and it's a great touch that I can have him walk live a few times to give him room to explore. So far it's holding up well, although I wouldn't recommend bending back and forth a lot. with this…

Pros
  • Bend this climbing tendril into any shape you like to decorate your reptile aquarium. Twist, stretch or wrap other items in the tank
Cons
  • Nothing
