Excellent filters - don't forget to rinse

These are quality filters that do a very good job of removing scale, rust particles etc. from domestic water Quarters. . But be sure to follow the instructions and turn on the cold water tap for a few minutes after installing the filter. The first few gallons through the filter are milky white and almost opaque. I'm not sure what it is, but I wouldn't drink it, cook with it, shower with it, or wash anything with it. It's important that you flush the faucet with cold water to prevent this crap…

Pros
  • Temperature range 4.4 to 79.4°C (40 to 175°F)
Cons
  • Large and bulky
