These are my favorites from my huge collection of calligraphy pens/markers!

That's great. Out of my large and obscene collection of several hundred dollar calligraphy pens, these are the ones I use the most. These are my favourites. They are so smooth and easy to write on (and easy to learn for a beginner) and the colors are very vibrant. I ended up buying 12 packs of each color individually because I use them a lot, but this set is great, especially for beginners. The nibs hold up pretty well and I like the thickness of what they write. They are better than my Tombow…

Great for beginners in modern calligraphy/brush lettering!

I'm new to modern calligraphy and have done a lot of research on brush pens that look like great pens but are particularly easy for beginners to learn and here are a few that I've seen recommended over and over again . These Pentel Sign Pen Brush (Flexible Point) are AWESOME pens! Give nice thin strokes up and noticeably thicker strokes down, the colors are nice and strong and the ink flows well. Pentel Wins

Everyone and their sisters make brush lettering and bullet magazines these days. However, the most popular pen set is the Tombow Fudenosuke. They're about ten dollars more than this. Unfortunately, influencers will pick up a product and promote it as a "must have", but there must be alternatives and I don't think a newbie should spend money on products, especially if you don't know anything.
