Disappointing compared to old model of same HoMedics Percussion Massager

I ordered this to replace an old model of the same product, that was damaged in a recent move. I'm disappointed. The older model had an on/off switch. and a frame speed slider. I used to use it at a very low frequency, which put a strain on my muscles. This model has 3 speeds, with the lowest speed being too high for "low". You press the power button to quickly increase the speed to two. You can't turn it off without changing the massage speed, which is annoying because it gets loud and fastโ€ฆ

The grip has been significantly improved.

I had an older version of this massager. After more than 10 years I have a short circuit in my cable. I decided that I should replace it. I'm so glad I did. It's even better than my old version. It's much easier to hold some of those difficult positions, e.g. B. Trying to reach the middle of your back. The grip is fantastic. Thanks to the oval handle, you can hold it at two different angles. You can use what works best. The handle is also soft. The massage head is heavy, which is good. Youโ€ฆ

Strongly disappointed. waste product.

HoMedics was once the leader in these products. But I have to say that the quality and craftsmanship of their products has deteriorated so much that it is not advisable to buy anything from their company now. Not to mention the rude and totally unfriendly customer service when trying to contact them. It seems that a few people are working in the shack. I originally ordered this HoMedics Percussion Action Plus massager in December 2018 and received what appeared to be a used, old, dirty productโ€ฆ
