I had a hard time buying this reel after seeing the bad reviews but I did it anyway. I am not disappointed! This fixed my occasional misfires on my 2001 VW Beetle. I waited almost a month before writing a review and it still works great. I will update the review if there are any issues.

So far so good. Installed 2 months ago and still works. 02 Jetta GLS 2.0LEDIT: 2 1/2 months and bam - code P0301 misfiring cylinder number 1 is returning. Want to offload the car for someone else, but if you need to fix a rolling problem, find another.

If your vehicle stalls in wet/rainy weather but runs well in dry weather or after the engine is fully warmed up, replace the ignition coil first. Rubber sleeves at both ends of the ignition cables keep moisture out well. This coil pack costs about $50. Replacing spark plugs and spark plug wires costs about $150. The old coil pack had several cracks in the plastic that caused misfires.

Garbage. Installed and then found the input connector does not snap at all like the old one. Raven sent me a replacement. When I then removed the spark plug wires, they were so tight that each of them broke the locking mechanism when I finally removed them. So now I still have to pay 80 dollars for plugs. Didn't even bother installing a replacement that Revain sent me, but did use a different brand and it worked fine.

Great replacement for my 2001 VW Jetta. I have changed. It was very easy. The original spool is defective. If it was raining or damp outside, the car would not start. And after numerous attempts, the car gave the opposite effect, it shook and stalled. In the end it started but after half an hour it backfired and stopped. Everything is fine with a new coil installed about five weeks ago. Never faded and never faded. Therefore I give five stars. It's been great so far. Much luck!

This ignition coil works great. I called every local parts store in my area to find out the price of a reel and they were all 6 or 7 times the price of that reel at Revain. I kind of thought it wouldn't work properly and that there would be misfires here and there, but it didn't. The coil has been in my car for many months now and still performs like a factory coil. I will shop here again if I need a coil for another vehicle. Thank you so much for having this part.

Bought this part on October 5th. .5 weeks later (when the car disappeared again) it was ALREADY damaged! Didn't even think to check it out when the car disappeared again 3 WEEKS ago because it was 'brand new'. Well, SHIT's age doesn't count in the equation because it's OLD or NEW. THIS IS SHIT! So I just spent $400 to diagnose and replace the coil. MANY THANKS. And everyone Merry Christmas. Now all three children will get 1-2 Christmas presents less this year. A convenient "return window"…

Looked good, not sure how well it works until I test it. My engine still fires after changing the cables and spark plugs. The only thing I don't like is that you can't pull out the connector wires without breaking them. Very tight. Possibly more than I prefer and they can't match the spec because my wires popped out of the old one easily and then reused the old wires and I had to break them and then pull them out. I was very unlucky with China as they always get it wrong in everything. maybe to
