These socks are comfortable to the touch. They're fat, but not too fat. There is extra padding at the heel and toe. The material is very soft and feels well made. I wear them very comfortably with steel toe boots.

I usually wear a size 11 at Merrells for men. These socks fit quite well but I find them quite tight. I certainly wouldn't attempt to wear them if your shoes are larger than a size 11.

I love the socks but the red pair and brown pair run smaller. The hole for tightening is smaller, they seem tight and shorter. Others fit and wear well. They didn't shrink or fade. I've worn them with Merrill's and Hokas. I wish you could order the colors you want. I will buy again but try to avoid red and brown.

I am in love with these socks. As wet as my boots got from rain and puddles during a two day 15 mile hike, it was amazing how comfortable my feet were. Even after trying on new shoes, I didn't get blisters and actually had to lend my husband a pair because his socks were bothering him. I highly recommend. True to size they added an extra pair and you can't beat the comfort, especially at this price point.

I love this product but was concerned it wouldn't last up to 10 miles. After using them on 4 hikes I am very happy with them because they were very comfortable and held my feet well while climbing the mountain. I didn't get any blisters while running either. The material of the socks is of good quality and will not show any premature wear after hiking, although they will leave some lint on the toes the first time you wear them.

Looks very high quality. Very thick and comfortable without causing heat/sweatiness, just what I was looking for. Buy slightly larger shoes/boots and wear thick socks for a more comfortable ride. They're a little tight. I usually wear size 9.5 shoes and the largest size (10.513) is so tight that it takes most of my strength to put them on. I have 5 pairs of these shoes that I have been wearing to work every day for 13 months. That means each pair has been worn and washed more than 60 times. I work in production management for a 500,000 square foot facility. These socks have clocked up countless miles in steel toe work boots and are holding up great. This review is out of date - almost a year since I bought these socks and they have been in my daily rotation for almost a full year. The heel wear is amazing. When I get home from work, I take off my shoes and walk on the floor all night until bedtime. Never rubbed the heels or soles of a pair so they're well done.
