Get something different for Jack Stands

Oil leakage from day one. I used it yesterday to replace a flat on my boat trailer and it only went up two inches. The entire bottom of the hull was in a puddle of oil. The cover is comfortable, but the latch doesn't work when needed. Get something different.

Pros
  • Slim design

Roller jacks - tools and equipment

I ordered two roller jacks, I like that the jacks have cups but at the same time the cups are cheap plastic the cups are made of very thin and weak for such heavy jacks . Not surprisingly, both boxes were damaged in transit and handling. In addition, the jacks are good, just haven't had the chance to use them yet.

  • Free for educational purposes

Worth every penny best in car elevators, elevators and jacks

I am a police officer by trade and work in the interstate system on a daily basis. That's why I meet a lot of people with flat tires. This Jack was the tool I needed. Its body facilitates storage and it appears to be a well built trolley suitable for most mid-size 1/2 ton vehicle applications. Definitely a good travel investment as it's faster and more reliable than a flimsy scissor jack every day.

Decent lift height - car lifts, hoists and jacks

Purchased to replace a standard crossover jack. I needed at least a 15" lift and a suitcase to keep it from rolling around. I used a hockey puck to add about half an inch to keep the jack from scratching the jack point. Unfortunately it needed a rubber change for one night. It was a bit spongy, mine had some air in it, open the valve, pump the handle about 10 times to push the air out, close the valve and you're done. A jack or hockey puck is stored in the pocket so it's always close at hand.

Beware, try this jack before you need it.

Received this jack today and decided to give it a test drive to jack up my boat and trailer. Total rig weight is just over 3,000 pounds, with the jack being rated at 4,500 pounds. I slid it under the frame on one side and started jacking it up. Once he started lifting the load, he would not get back up. I lowered the jack, pulled it out, closed the valve and jacked it to full height. I slid it back under the axle, made sure the valve was secure, and tried again with the same result. I hope I…

Looks very promising

At first I bought this jack "brand new" so I thought the body was new, not punctured! As far as I can remember the jack itself hasn't come off as it should be new. Aside from the damaged housing, this jack is mechanically a little rough when it comes to jacking up the jack; Lowering is gentle. The jack is light in weight along with the body, but the jack itself is lighter. The jack appears to be well made and I only trust this jack to jack up my car and fit a "jack" for a quick and safe tire…

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • I have no complaints about it, everything is fine

Beautiful device with a small flaw

The first impression was favorable. It looks as solid as any other similarly priced jack. I'm tired of lugging my big jack to work where a jack that big isn't needed. The detachable handle makes it easy to carry the jack (very well balanced). The weak point is the wheel bearings. I have to be extra careful to keep them clean and lubricated. Fortunately, they can be easily removed for maintenance. I'll just avoid using it in the mud unless absolutely necessary. I like the extra inches of…

A good, durable jack for transporting in the trunk of a car.

I was driving to the supermarket when the car started to move lower to the right. I knew something was wrong so I stopped, assuming I had a flat tyre. I parked safely in front of the houses and of course saw that the right front tire was flat. I figured that wouldn't be a problem and I would just change the tyre. I opened the trunk and was horrified to find that I didn't have a jack in the trunk. I usually carry a 2 ton Pro-LIft in the trunk of three of my cars. Then I remembered that the jack…

Great emergency hydraulic jack!

I bought this hydraulic jack as an emergency jack because one day (the tires were still on when I prepared the chopping stands) my car fell off the useless scissor jack that came with the car is. and I want a case to keep the jack in the car. The 2.25 ton Performance Tool Jack is stronger and stronger than scissor jacks, especially in emergency situations where the ground may not be perfectly level. My observations so far are that while the overall jack looks solid, it does have a few…
