Very poor quality good for hand tools

Very poor quality, used twice, started to slip on second use. One week 30 day return policy. I messed it up. I was almost out of power on the ratchet when it started to fail.

You get what you pay for.

Bought this 'tool' to add to my arsenal, Bought as 'Used' in good condition, Opened envelope, Looked good, However as described, ratchet is locked, will not fit in any Direction have a ratchet flapping lever. Very disappointed.

Buy cheap, get cheap.

If like me you're looking for a cheap ratchet to get the job done with some leverage, stay away from this one. I grabbed the first nut, which I had already unclipped with a crowbar. I even tried to fix it as shown in the video.

Pros
  • Everything great!

Not suitable for power tools and hand tools

The second time I used it, the internal gear broke when I tried to replace the suspension on my truck. I'm not an athlete so I can't break this tool with manual torque. Look elsewhere if you really need to pry the screw out.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Low repairability

It's good...on sockets

I use this thing a lot on my Audi Q5, R50 Mini Cooper, 2010 Honda Civic EX and my 1975 Honda CB500. I originally bought a 1/2" static drive rod, thinking it would be more comfortable, but was concerned about ratchet durability. I changed the axles and motor mounts and it still works! I live in the Northeastern United States, so January salt and snow are a part of life, and with them rusty bolts. That thing usually broke them. I will NOT try to use this for lug nuts. If I feel like I can standโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Hard to tell

The ratchet itself is probably good but the experience is terrible

Came dirty, beaten, broken. It's a tool, it won't stay clean forever, but it should look like someone tried. When I first opened the box I looked at the handle and it looked like it had been chewed by a dog. Tape over the ratchet direction switch. I thought it was just an odd choice of packaging. I take off the tape and the shifter sticks with the tape! The ratchet can rotate freely in any direction! So I have a job I'm not doing and a car I can't drive for a few more days while I wait for aโ€ฆ

Pros

Reviewer Wilmer Performance W38101 3/8 " Wrench

When this wrench arrived at my office I was surprised when I opened the packaging and saw how compact it was. The head section is much thinner than my thin Tecton 3/8" model and smaller. The only plastic I see is the ring around the head release button. On my dad's 40+ year old wrenches these are metal but no trigger buttons, just a directional switch. Also, I can't tell if the directional switch is metal or plastic. I need to find a magnet to be sure. When I look at the directional lever, itโ€ฆ
