24 teeth in total Pass key

24 teeth in total and the head is a bit flexible. Doesn't look like a big ratchet, just feels cheap. If I'm wrong I'll update it.

Pros
  • weight
Cons
  • old

Brought one of these a month ago

Brought one of these a month ago, seems well built. So I got another one at the store, but it very rarely broke. Not recommended for professional or intensive use.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Minor problems

Looks good best in wrenches

Got 3/8" x 18" and it looks great. I like the extra long reach but it also generates a lot of torque on the head so I'll be careful to only use it on special occasions. ****Update*** A few months later, after about a dozen uses, it self-destructed on the drive tray.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Not the best

That's not durability!

I bought this tool because I really need it and I've thought long and hard about using it, less than a month later it broke, the flex head loosen or tighten button got stuck and could don't even tighten or loosen nuts! This is very frustrating! Not recommended for professional or intensive use.

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Press button to remove and tilt head

Not as described! It looks like a flex head but what came in the mail was the same product but had a button at the top of the shaft that locks and unlocks the position you are in. So you need to know what angle you need before you get to it. Because of this, it is very uncomfortable to use!

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Obsolete

36 teeth, not 72 - still a lot!

4 stars for inaccurate description. This is a 36 tooth ratchet, not 72 as stated in the product description. Bought to have a flexible low arc head in tight spaces. Still a great deal for less than $7! If Amazon can't replace it with the advertised 72 note model, I'll keep it to myself - not worth returning. In addition, the ratchet comes dry from the factory and absolutely needs a super lubricant or another synthetic lubricant.

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Don't buy junk! at Power & Hand Tools

I bought this 1/2 inch flex head ratchet for light work in my garage. My ATV had a loose tire so I had to tighten it. The ratchet broke with one hand, the parts fell out where the head snaps, and I welded it to finish the job. Don't use my tools much. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. It's sad that you can go to Harbor Frieght and buy one for $16-$20 with a lifetime warranty.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires socket
