Performance Tool W54105 Flutes Filter Review

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can confidently say this filter has improved my engine's oil performance. It's the perfect tool for any car owner who wants a reliable and efficient oil filter. The filter is easy to install and its durability is second to none. The only con would be the price, but it's worth it for the long-term benefits. Overall, I highly recommend this oil system tool.

The 74mm inside is so flat it won't fit into a 3/8 ratchet. It barely touches the tip of the filter and the tip of the ratchet. It engages the grooves, but the slightest torque will cause it to slip. This in no way removes the filter. The Wix filter was on my Harley and Chevy Silverado.

Oh well. I think this is not a real reflection of the tool. seems well done. it just doesn't fit. Is the instrument to blame? Spring. mmm no I do not think so. But then again, I spent hours trying to figure out the size and number of grooves on my Chevy Silverado. Looking back, I think I should have gotten my calipers under the truck and measured it. but I didn't. Nowadays you can usually search for this information.
