Description of Permalba 150 Ml Artist Color Phthalo

Made from densely concentrated pigments. The entire Permalba oil color line is rated as ASTM Lightfastness I, with the exclusion of the iridescent colors which are not yet rated. Traditional pigments with low lightfastness have been replaced with contemporary alternatives, giving the artist the same traditional hues so richly prized but with superior color retention. Formulated with refined linseed and safflower oils which minimize after yellowing. Maximum film flexibility.

Vibrant Colors for Artistic Endeavors

i recently purchased a vivid shade of blue from this brand's Artist Color range for my Arts and Crafts project and I must say that it exceeded my expectations. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can appreciate the quality and brightness of the paint. It mixes well and dries quickly, allowing me to layer my brush strokes effortlessly. The only downside I found is that the tube is slightly smaller than other brands, but the results more than make up for it. Highly recommend!..

Pros
  • High-quality artist color with excellent pigmentation
Cons
  • Requires careful handling during use and storage to avoid accidental spills or staining

Great Addition to my Arts and Crafts Collection

As a frequent artist I was excited to try this color out for my next painting. As my tests showed, the Phthalo color had a rich and vibrant hue THAT added depth and dimension to my artwork.I appreciate that it came in a large size, as I go through my paints quickly and its nice to have a substantial amount on hand. The only downside was that it took a bit longer to dry than some other colors, but it wasn't a major issue for my project. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and would recommend it

Pros
  • Vivid and bold color
Cons
  • Pigment concentration is lower than other brands

This is the second tube of Permalba (Ptalo Blue) that I have reviewed. I got a large set of these a few years ago. I knock out a fairly large painting about once a month and if I didn't like this piece I wouldn't be buying more. I probably won't be using any other brand at this point. My only complaint is that blue and umber dry out quicker than other colors, but I think that's an issue with all brands, at least mine. Seriously, this is good stuff and I know what I'm talking about.

Pros
  • Painting
Cons
  • Crumpled
