Easy to install, quality plastic and vinyl parts, custom cut was spot on. But it IS faux wood.

This set of blinds is everything they said it would be. They function well and block light well. The company went out of their way to confirm my measurements, especially after I changed one of the dimensions. However, they are entirely made of plastic or vinyl (except the metal mounting brackets). They definitely are not "decorator quality," and the valance is a bit plasticky looking. That being said, they are perfect for our family TV room.

Blind rail fell apart during unpacking!

During unpacking, the blind rail fell apart on both ends! Both end caps fell off, spilling the contents of the rail onto the living room floor. It took my wife and I nearly an hour to reassemble it, eventually requiring the end caps to be super glued on.
