Good but needs revision

The materials are good, durable. But they must have a better clamping system. This is designed for a much larger dog than mine and she still pulls the cable through the clamps and releases it.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Excellent length for the price

Excellent length and durability of the leash, the only thing that let us down was the hook closure from the leash to the collar, it broke after just a month, easy to find something to work with. I would definitely buy again.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Functionality

Would buy again from Tie-Outs & Stakes

This set has everything you need. The idler wheel was very tight at first, but loosened over time. The only thing I would change/add is to buy a quick chain link so you don't have to take everything off the cable to get the block off the tree. This unit has proven itself very well. We used it for camping as we brought our dog.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Can take damage

It's also very easy to set up and use (our 4 year old son.

I have a 9 pound chihuahua mix who loves to run away at every opportunity. She gave us life to Made hell torturing our neighbors afternoons and all day until we got this starting system It has literally brought sanity back into our lives now that we can let it go without worrying about it running the city. It's also very easy to set up and use (our 4 year old can easily hook up Miss Runaway)

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Great mileage at a price no one can compare in length

I compared prices on several different websites and stores before ordering this item. That's 60 feet for the price of a 20-30 foot long dog run. This product came with everything including eyebolts that I screwed into my trees. The open end allowed for length adjustment, ensuring the right length and a streamlined ride. It has a thick plastic cover for weather and dog protection. My husky loves it. The roller at the top is very smooth and slides easily.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Something different

Lots of room for my pup!

Works great! However, if you are using more than half the length, you should hang it above 6 feet to allow for sagging. I use about 55ft and hung it at 8ft. It drops to about 7 feet in the middle. The hardware is sturdy, the instructions are easy to follow, and it took about 10 minutes to install. Even if I hang it at 8 feet, my dog can move about 7 feet off the line on either side. A little math: 14 feet wide and 55 feet long, so she has about 770 square feet of freedom!

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Empty

. and was able to pull the main track almost freely

Our 4 month old labrador pup weighs less than 50 pounds and was able to pull the main track almost freely. It was installed according to the instructions and the two small clamps to hold the leash are not enough. The cord is still slipping and the protective coating on the wire has peeled off. If I tighten the clamps any further I feel like they will break. I've reinstalled the leash by wrapping the wire around the eye a few times to reduce stress on the two clips, but it still doesn't fit theโ€ฆ

  • cool product

  • some little things

My pup loves this! in Learning and Behavior Manuals

This is the second one I have bought. The first was 2 years ago, exposed to the elements since installation and eventually failed. My 60 lb pooch loves being outdoors and this is an amazing outdoor solution. The first, however, had a spiral line connected to the collar. I think my dog prefers that 10 foot straight line. The coil is pulled up to the main track. It was good and bad: good that he stayed away from her legs, bad because she looked uncomfortable and it limited her walking space. Itโ€ฆ
